Missing In Action

This past week has been so busy for me! It was my birthday on Monday so I've been super busy with dinners with friends, romantical dinner with boyfriend, and meeting for wine with mom. Crazy busy but I have some wonderful pictures from the steakhouse we went to on my bday. It had beautiful decor and I can't wait to share with you!

{Stone Love}

Okay, so I have a mild obsession with all things exposed stone. This obsession is evidenced by the fact that every time I see said exposed stone I point out to boyfriend, "Look at that exposed stone! I love it!" My future custom built house will have some sort of natural stacked exposed stone and I can't wait!

Ski In Ski Out

Come December I will be traveling to the ski valley to spend some quality time in the snow. Although hot chocolate, amazing food, and snuggling will be at the top of my list, I will also be enjoying the ski lodge decor that surrounds me. A good fireplace is key when designing a welcoming ski lodge.

But for those of us who don't get to live in a beautiful ski lodge year round, there are some lovely decorations to give you that lodge-y feel whenever you like.

A Olsen Style

Love love loooove the Olsen twins style. I especially adore Ashley and the way she dresses. Who else can pair leather leggings with Chucks and look so chic? If only it was cold enough here in AZ to wear so many layers I would dress like an Olsen every day.

Blended Perfection

As I'm sitting in the doctors office waiting on my boyfriend to get out of surgery, I thumb through the latest issue of Better Homes & Gardens. The November issue is packed with beautiful ideas on how to set a holiday table and easy tips to simplify your life in the hectic holiday weeks to come. My favorite article was one called Premium Blend, which features a couple who has turned their traditional home into a modern eclectic mix of design. I just love their bold fabric choices and rich use of color! I also could use that art in their living room at my house right now! Yes please!
